matthias gumm founded the designstudio. the studio works in five areas of design: interior architecture, industrial design, industrially produced furniture and accessories, limited editions and pieces for art galleries. his work has been published and exhibited in europe and japan and has received several awards. some pieces are today part of the permanent collection at the werkbundarchiv - museum der dinge - berlin and at the museum für kunst und gewerbe hamburg.
